Three of the names I don't recognize.
Rats! I was hoping that your visit meant that you had done a new post. I just put one up that I put a great deal of passion into, but then I put a great of passion into all my posts about religion. You said that you dislike it, maybe even hate it. Oh, but I hate it. The literalists scare me because I know they would turn this country in a Christian version of Saudi Arabia if they got the chance, and the liberals leave me befuddled. I went to that church largely because I wanted to understand their beliefs, but their beliefs are so vague that I can't imagine what comfort they get from them. I agree with the New Atheists about the literalists doing all the meanness while the liberals give them their tacit support.
I just thought I would drop by and say hi and see if I missed a post.
Are you trying to make it a full year without posting?
Snowbrush, Although I approved your comments months ago, and I was sure I wrote a response, it's not showing up.
I may have started to write it, then got interrupted, and it may have ended up under other windows and then I shut down the computer without posting it.
I have a tendency to get caught up in other things and ignore everything else. I had volunteered to help find people for my HS reunion. Then I volunteered to scan photos in the yearbook and make name tags. Then I volunteered to do about 10 other things and before I knew it, more than a year had passed. And by that time, I was so far behind on everything else that I spent all my time trying to catch up. At the end of 2013, I lost Quicken files for the past 15 years. I had to reconstruct, at the minimum 2013, so I had everything I needed for tax purposes.
It is very difficult to get back to blogging after ignoring it for so long. But I'll try to do better this year.
Thanks for checking back several times. I would have probably given up long ago.
